EPLER consulting was founded by Etienne le Roux. Etienne has been involved in fuel retailing and wholesaling for 10 years and was co-founder and co-owner of a large, multi-national fuel wholesaling and distribution company in South Africa.

In 2018 he decided to leave the corporate world and dedicate his time and effort to establishing a new company, assisting existing fuel retailers and wholesalers with their businesses, as well as assisting potential new entrants to the fuel retail and wholesale space through acquiring the necessary licences from the Department of Energy.

Etienne also assists current retailers with assessing the value of their fuel retail businesses and advises them on the Regulatory Accounting System (RAS). He further offers advise on the advancement of the BEE component as prescribed by the Department of Energy.
